Alongside the time and talent of the students, the success of the SHS Band Program hinges on the involvement of parents, alumni, and community volunteers in many capacities, including chaperones, assistant to the director, welders, seamstresses, carpenters, drivers, cooks, and many others. One very specific way adults support the band is through the Shelton Band Booster program. It is certainly not necessary to be a Booster to volunteer with the Band Program. The purpose of the Boosters is to support the Music with financial support through various fundraising activities throughout the year to help meet the needs of Programs not covered in the annual school budget.

*NOTE: Our Band Boosters Program is currently non-operational but we are trying to bring it back! Currently, the plan is to bring the Choir and Theater programs together to create a Performing Arts Booster.
