The SHS Marching High Climbers parade season is upon us! Rehearsal are Monday and Wednesdays from 6 - 8 pm.

MARCHING BAND/PARADE BAND ENSEMBLE

All students participating in the Shelton High School Instrumental Ensembles comprise the Highclimber Parade Band and Highclimber Parade Band. These groups perform at SHS’s assemblies, football games, basketball games, and local parades.These groups are the pride of the Shelton community, performing at local sporting events and regional and national parades.

Parades and Football Games

School provided parts: Pants, Jacket, Shako, Gauntlets, Gloves and Garment Bag.

Student provided parts: Black Marching Shoes, Black Socks, Black Underclothes

Uniforms should be clean and well-kept. Black socks and band t-shirts should be worn underneath the uniform along with black leggings, shorts, or sweats. Clothes underneath the uniforms should never be visible. Jeans are never allowed in uniform.

Hair should be neat and well-kept. Men and women with hair long enough to be pulled back should do so. Hair should never be loose in uniform and should always be tucked into the shakos. Buns, braids, and ponytails are examples of acceptable hairstyles.
